The 741 LUM Onslaught has a modified clip-point blade with ambidextrous thumb hole for opening. The blade is forged of 154CM steel, which is an American made steel originally designed for industrial uses that features superior corrosion resistance and edge quality. The Axis locking mechanism is a Benchmade exclusive. It uses omega style springs in each liner to give the locking bar the inertia it needs to engage the tang.
